Honor Code Project

In April 2008, students voted to establish an Honor Code at Lake Forest College. That vote marked an essential first step. The 2008-09 academic year will see efforts to gain support from faculty and administrators, as the students involved in the project work to establish a code on campus.

The Honor Code project represents an effort to foster community, to involve students further in the elaboration and defense of the values that unite us as Lake Foresters, and to transfer more responsibility to students in the enforcement of essential standards for academic and social life.
