Foresters Receive 22 Academic All-Conference Honors
Fall sport honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2
  

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Midwest Conference released the 2004 Academic All-Conference Team with 22 Lake Forest College student-athletes on the list representing all seven fall sports teams. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 was required for consideration.

The Forester women’s soccer team had the most selections with seven student-athletes. Honorees included seniors Erika Koesling (Lindenhurst, IL/Antioch), and Sarah Shepherd (Newburgh, ON/Williston-Northampton), and Mei-Yun Gibson (Denver, CO/Eaglecrest). Junior Melissa Stevenson (Littleton, CO/Dakota Ridge) and sophomores Angela Rubino (Newbury Park, CA/Newbury Park), Becca Bride (Wilmot, NH/Kearsarge Regional), and Stephanie Nicholas (Madison, WI/Madison Memorial) were also on the list.

Four volleyball players were awarded. Seniors Amy Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) and Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) were selected along with juniors Molly Smith (Watsonville, CA/Watsonville), and Keely Knack (Buffalo Grove, IL/Buffalo Grove).

The four football players on the list included seniors David Bleitner (St. Louis, MO/Vianney) and Nick Waite (South Bend, IN/St. Joseph) and juniors Soren Johnson (Ripon, WI/Ripon) and Ben Reiss (Mahtomedi, MN/Mahtomedi).

The women’s tennis team was one of three sports to be represented by two student-athletes. Juniors Jill Chudacoff (Highland Park, IL/Highland Park) and Brittany Richardson (Little Rock, AR/Central) made the list.

The two men's cross country runners to be awarded were senior Logan Dick (Tucson, AZ/Salpointe Catholic) and junior Will Pittinos (Coral Gables, FL/Palmer-Trinity).

Senior John Karner (Gurnee, IL/Warren Township) and sophomore Chris Georgen (St. Louis, MO/Crossroads School) were selected from men's soccer.

The list of student-athlete honorees was rounded out by sophomore Katie Snowden (Toronto, ON/York Mills Collegiate Institution), a member of the women's cross country team.
