Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Holiday History Exhibit and Program

The Office of Intercultural Relations, in collaboration with the Mohr Student Center Committee, will present the Martin Luther King, Jr. History Exhibit in the Mohr Student Center foyer.  This self-paced exhibit, which will be on display from January 14 – 20, will provide a variety of opportunities to learn about Dr. King’s life and legacy.  Participants can view transcripts of Dr. King’s speeches that helped fuel his activism, hear original recordings of his speeches, and learn pertinent biographical information about Dr. King’s life and enduring legacy.  The exhibit will also contain information about non-violent action as a vehicle for social change.

The College’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Program will be on January 19, 2009 beginning 4:30 PM in the Lily Reid Memorial Chapel.  The exhibit and holiday program are both open to the public and free of charge.
