Panhellenic Council

Panhellenic Council is the governing body of the four national/international sororities with chapters on campus at Lake Forest College: Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, Delta Delta Delta, and Kappa Alpha Theta.  Alpha Kappa Alpha, a Pan-Hellenic sorority, attends Panhellenic meetings as well as participates in a variety of Panhellenic events.

Panhellenic Council exists to develop and maintain sorority life and relations.  Great strides have been made since its creation only a few years ago.  The Board is intended to promote Greek spirit and collaboration throughout Greek letter organizations at the College.  Its purpose is to promote Greek women on becoming involved in their respective organizations and elsewhere in their lives and to motivate Greek women to make a positive impact on the Greek, College, and other communities beyond the realm of Lake Forest.  Panhellenic Council acts as a liaison between sororities as well as other organizations and clubs on campus, enforces Panhellenic and Lake Forest College laws, endorses academic achievement for its members, offers a plethora of leadership and philanthropic opportunities, and acts as a foundation for intra- and inter- organizational relationships and networking.
