The Residence Life staff of Resident Assistants (RAs) and Residence Directors (RDs) fosters an environment that is conducive to study and learning, promotes personal growth and responsibility, and assists students in adjusting to the Lake Forest College community. The staff provides peer-based counseling that is responsive to individual needs, coordinates educational and social programming, and upholds College policies. The professional staff also provides counseling and advising for residents as well as supervision for the residence hall staff.

Nightly, beginning at 9:00 p.m., a Residence Life staff member (RA) is on-duty in each residence hall. If you have any questions or concerns, refer to the on-duty schedules posted in each residence hall to contact the RA on-duty. In addition, a professional Residence Life staff member (RD) and a dean from the Office of Student Affairs are on-call for campus emergencies.
